funded through the support of the community. Ladera Hope was incorporated as of December 27, 2007. It is our mission to raise awareness about issues affecting the health, environment and economic welfare of the community, and to preserve the quality of life in and around Ladera Ranch. In keeping with this mission, our immediate goal is as follows: We want the proposed construction of the power plant to be stopped and we want the County to do a full Environmental Impact Report. Ladera Hope is calling for a process which will allow fully informed decisions about this issue to be made by the Ladera Ranch community and permitting authorities. The appropriate review process would include participation and input from technical experts and professionals, as well as the community. |
